अरण्ययाने सुकरे पिता मा
प्रायुङ्क्त राज्ये बत दुष्करे त्वाम् ।
मा गाः शुचं वीर भरं वहाऽमु-
माभाषि रामेण वचः कनीयान् ॥

Karandikar Father ordained me for going to the forest which was easy to do. Alas, he appointed you for administration which is difficult to carry on . Oh courageous one, do not attain grief ; bear this burden." The younger brother (Bharata) was addressed by Rama with these words.
