विच्छिद्यमानेऽपि कुले परस्य
पुंसः कथं स्यादिह पुत्रकाम्या ॥

Accustomed to listening to and acting upon the ideas of the elders and possessed of intelligence, if you do not carry out the paternal order, how then would there arise in this world the desire in any other person, for a son even if the family were to become extinct ?
