तप्तस्य तप्तेन यथाऽऽयसो नः
संधिः परेणाऽस्तु विमुञ्च सीताम् ॥

"Rama too is enraged by the abduction of (his) wife ; we (are grieved) by the killing of kinsmen who were as good as ourselves. Like the welding of heated iron with heated iron, let us have peace with the enemy; release Sita.
