॥ अथ ४.६२ ॥
वैशंपायन उवाच ।
४.६२.२
गतेषु च प्रभग्नेषु धार्तराष्ट्रेषु सर्वशः ।
वनान्निष्क्रम्य गहनाद्बहवः कुरुसैनिकाः ॥
M N Dutt While the sons of Dhritarashtra, after being defeated, were going away, a large number of Kuru soldiers, coming out of the deep forest, appeared slowly before Partha, their hearts filled with fear. They stood before him with joined hands and disheveled hair.
४.६२.३
भयात्संत्रस्तमनसः समाजग्मुस्ततस्ततः ।
मुक्तकेशा व्यदृश्यन्त स्थिताः प्राञ्जलयस्तदा ॥

M N Dutt Exhausted with hunger and thrust, come in a foreign country, beside themselves with fear, and bewildered, they bowed down to the son of Pritha and said "We are your slaves." (At which Arjuna said):
