वैशंपायन उवाच ।
४.३८.१
तां शमीमुपसंगम्य पार्थो वैराटिमब्रवीत् ।
सुकुमारं समाज्ञातं संग्रामे नातिकोविदम् ॥

सुवर्णविकृतं दिव्यं श्लक्ष्णमायतमव्रणम् ।
अलं भारं गुरुं वोढुं दारुणं चारुदर्शनम् ।
तादृशान्येव सर्वाणि बलवन्ति दृढानि च ॥

M N Dutt Whose are these gold feathered arrows whetted on stone, the lower halves of which are embellished with wings of the colour of a parrot's feathers and the upper halves of which are made of well-tempered steel?
