दिशो व्यष्नुवते दृप्तास्त्वत्कृतां जहति स्थितिम् ।
क्षोदयन्ति च नः क्षुद्रा हसन्ति त्वां विपद्गतम् ॥

Karandikar 'Puffed up with pride, they occupy the quarters, give up the limitations laid down by you ; and (those) mean ones will call us mean and jeer at you who have fallen into disaster.
