चेत्प्रकृष्टमात्मानमरेस्तथापि ।
रिक्तस्य पूर्णेन वृथा विनाशः
पूर्णस्य भङ्गे बहु हीयते तु ॥

"If you regard yourself as superior to the enemy on account of (your) army and treasury, even then the destruction of the empty (Rama) by (you) who are full is futile; but much (more) would be lost in the destruction of (one like you who is full.
