प्रचपलमगुरुं भराऽसहिष्णुं
जनमसमानमनूर्जितं विवर्ज्य ।
कृतवसतिमिवाऽर्णवोपकण्ठे
स्थिरमतुलोन्नतिमूढतुङ्गमेघम् ॥

Karandikar -which (being itself) firm, of unparallelled height and one that had borne the lofty clouds, had, as it were, made its residence in the vicinity of the ocean, after having avoided the (populated) world that was neither firm, nor heavy, nor capable of bearing weight nor lofty (enough);
