गते तस्मिन्नुपारंसीत्संरम्भाद्रक्षसां पतिः ।
इन्द्रजिद्विक्रमाऽभिज्ञो मन्वानो वानरं जितम् ॥

Karandikar He being gone, the lord of the demons fully conversant with the valour of Indrajit and considering the monkey to have been (already) vanquished [according to Mallinatha] desisted from agitation OR He being gone the lord of the demons desisted from agitation (and) Indrajit well aware of (his own) valour (departed) considering the monkey (as already) vanquished,
