छिन्नानैक्षन्त भिन्नांश्च समन्ताद्राम-सायुकैः ।
क्रुष्टं हाहेति चाऽशृण्वन्न च रामं न्यरूपयन् ॥

Karandikar They did not see (the demons) injured and battered all around by Rama's arrows ; and they heard (their) cry Ah ! Alas !' (but) did not perceive Rama.
