निराकरिष्णुर्द्विजकुञ्जराणां
तृणीकृताऽशेषगुणोऽतिमोहात् ।
पापाऽशयानभ्युदयाऽर्थमार्ची-
त्प्राग्ब्रह्मरक्षःप्रवरान्दशाऽऽस्यः ॥

Karandikar Ravana, who, desirous of subduing them, trified with one and all of their virtues, worshipped first, for the sake of prosperity, the best of brahmin-demons whose intentions were sinful.
