प्रददृशुरुरुमुक्तशीकरौघा-
न्विमलमणिद्युतिसंभृतेन्द्रचापान् ।
जलमुच इव धीरमन्द्रघोषा-
न्क्षितिपरितापहृतो महातरङ्गान् ॥

Karandikar (They) perceived the huge billows which scattered far and wide the gushes of spray, which augmented the rainbow with the lustre of (their) clear jewels, whose sound was loud and rumbling, which resembled the water-showering clouds and removed the all round heat of the earth.
